Brief
Beauty powerhouse, Huda Beauty, sought our help to promote their brand new Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation across the UK, Belgium, and Germany. They wanted to reach potential new beauty customers across popular social media channels such as Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, and boost overall brand awareness.
Process
Our paid ads team began by thoroughly researching audiences in the 3 chosen countries. Following this, they conducted forecasting by country to ensure they were working with the most efficient budget split to provide Huda Beauty with the biggest return.
On Google and YouTube, we specifically targeted beauty app users, people interested in “beauty and personal care” and “beauty and fitness” content. We set up the targeting of different beauty channels on YouTube to target users interested in similar products.
Results
The efforts of our paid ads team produced incredible results as we outperformed what we forecasted on every channel. This was an extremely successful paid campaign, and both the team and client are ecstatic with the results.
Google performed incredibly well with 31.5 million impressions, 19% higher than forecasted, and a reach of 31.5 million, 67% higher than forecasted. TikTok tells a very similar story with 112 million impressions, 114% above our original forecast and 503,831 generated clicks, 182% above our original forecast. Our efforts across Meta (formerly Facebook) resulted in 112 million impressions, and 66,790 clicks at a CPC of £0.80 and a CPM of £1.18, an almost unbelievable 73% lower than forecasted.
