C4 Football
Brief
To coincide with the Women’s European Championship, we had to run a campaign for major FMCG brand C4 Energy, bringing our ideas right down to grassroots, community level. This was to highlight the growth and development of women’s football, with one eye on the future.
The aim was to put a spotlight on the progress in women’s football, and the importance of supporting it at a grassroots level. We aimed to achieve this by connecting the buzz of a huge international tournament with the authenticity of local community-led stories, with a view to inspiring even greater attention for women’s football, leading to further participation, investment, and visibility.
Process
In order to achieve our aims with this ambitious project, we crafted a piece of storytelling within a local community, capturing their football journey in person. This story was then shared across multiple social media platforms to showcase a range of real experiences, celebrating the women’s game. This method of authentic storytelling and community engagement brought national attention to the local impact of women’s football, boosting the key message of growth, unity, and opportunity.
Results
