Poundland

Brief

Our sister agency One Events were chosen by renowned retail chain Poundland, due to our recent successes in creating powerful experiential activations for large brands throughout the UK and beyond. Coupled with Poundland’s reputation for great value and the launch of their loyalty app, Perks, it promised to be a high-value teamup that guaranteed plenty of marketing perks.

 

The brief received involved creating and providing a caravan for the high-profile launch of
Poundland’s first loyalty app, called Perks. The van was to visit locations all over the UK and offer people a free coffee if they signed up for the app. It also needed to closely match the branding of the Perks app in order to ensure cohesion across the campaign and the product it was promoting.

Process

Our design experts took a reference of the caravan purchased and began modelling in Blender, 3D graphics software. After this model was designed, it was wrapped around the van by our events team. Our designer then added further details to the model, including screens and chairs around the vehicle, in order to better showcase how it would look in a real life setting. Following this model, a few images were made to be put into a presentation deck and sent off for client approval. Overall, the process was seamless and required little to no amendments on the creative side, showcasing the professionalism and creative ability of our team.

Results

As a result of our eye-catching, impeccably designed caravan activation, we gave out over four-thousand coffees – each one requiring a sign up to the Poundland Perks app.
