Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the quality of project planning at the agency, and therefore the quality of the output.

Digital

Salary: Competitive

Trafford Park, Manchester

hybrid

Your core responsibilities are:

– Leading projects from start to finish, and supporting others with isolated tasks where full project management isn’t needed.

– Planning and running multiple projects at once, across creative and digital, while keeping on top of the detail.

– Controlling timelines, delivery and budgets through strong risk assessment and forward planning.

– Prioritising your own workload alongside each project’s plan, in a fast-paced environment.

– Building strong relationships with each of your clients.

– Collaborating with the wider agency and building good working relationships with every department you work alongside.

– Being confident in your role as the authority on your projects, and comfortable giving feedback both upwards and downwards.

– Learning quickly. Where your experience of a service is limited, we expect you to be keen to build it.

– You’ll be managed by the Head of Projects, and on a project basis you’ll report into the relevant Heads of Department, so you’ll often be working with more than one person at a time.

What to expect

You’ll work across a broad mix of projects, which will include:

Content Web | Production | Design | Organic Social

Some of these you’ll lead from start to finish, and on others you’ll support with specific tasks. You won’t be expected to arrive as an expert in every one of them, but you will be expected to get up to speed quickly and plan them with confidence. Along the way you’ll work closely with the teams behind each service so building those relationships early will make a real difference.
